At Worthing BSAC, we are passionate about sharing our love for scuba diving with enthusiasts of all levels. Established in 1982, our club has been a hub for divers across the South Coast, fostering a sense of camaraderie and adventure. We are based in Worthing, West Sussex and with our club boat moored in Littlehampton have access to a huge range of some of the best UK diving. With a dedicated team of experienced volunteer instructors and a commitment to safety, we provide an inclusive and supportive environment for divers to learn, improve their skills, and create lifelong memories.
We meet on Monday evenings, alternating between the local swimming pool, (Splashpoint Leisure Centre) and Worthing Rowing Club. Pool sessions are from 20:30 until 22:30, whereas “dry” (joke!) sessions are from 20:30 until closing time.
Our mission is to promote the exploration of the underwater world while fostering a sense of community among divers. We strive to provide exceptional training, organise exhilarating dive trips, and raise awareness about the amazing underwater world on offer. Through our activities, we aim to inspire a deep appreciation for the ocean’s wonders and contribute to its preservation for future generations.
Diving Courses:
Whether you’re a complete novice or looking to advance your diving skills, we offer a range of courses tailored to your needs. Our certified volunteer instructors provide comprehensive training, from beginner Ocean Diver courses to Advanced Diver level and specialties like wreck diving and underwater photography. Dive into a new world of knowledge and skill with our fully qualified and friendly instructors.
Already qualified with another agency? We offer cross over courses and further diver development for all divers from all agencies.
All courses are aligned with the British Sub Aqua Club qualification framework.
Dive Trips:
Explore the breathtaking dive sites of the South Coast with us! We organize regular dive trips out of Littlehampton using our own RIB. With over 70 wreck and reef sites within easy reach as well as fascinating marine life and unique underwater landscapes, there’s always an exciting adventure waiting for you.
We run further afield trips around the UK throughout the year either towing the club RIB or using commercial hard boats. For those wanting some warmer waters we also organise overseas dive trips.
Dive sites are suitable for all qualification levels and range from 10m to 50m. No buddy? No worries! We pair all divers on the boat, so you always have someone to dive with.
