What a great night at the rowing club. We put out a call to the chefs in the dive club to take part in our Chilli Con Carne competition that was held on Monday 11th November.
We had a great turn out with tasters paying £5 a head and chilli chefs were free.
Five delicious dishes were entered and everyone started off sampling each of them and voting. A massive thank you to everyone that came and those that made Chillies. Dave Burnham was a worthy winner in the end. Once the judging had finished everyone piled into the rest of the chillies and there wasn’t much left at the end.
Big thanks to Dave B and for all the extras that he made like rice, salsa, guacamole etc that really made the evening. Hopefully we can organise a similar event in the New Year. Curry competition anyone……?
